MACQUARIE’S SUMMER OF CRICKET LINE-UP: Damien Fleming and Bruce Eva.

MAXWELL TON SEES AUSTRALIA HOME

Glenn Maxwell backed up his three wickets with a huge ton.

Maxwell (103*) hit the winning runs with a six, bringing up his ton in the process.

Australia looked in some trouble at 2-4 in the opening over, before D’Arcy Short (30) had a 78-run stand with Maxwell to steady the ship.

ENGLAND COLLAPSE

England has posted 9-155 from its 20 overs.

It is a defendable total, however it is a far  cry from what they could have posted.

The visitors were on 3-96 at the 10-over mark, with Damien Fleming saying 200 was on the cards.

But Glenn Maxwell (3-10) and Ashton Agar (2-15) put the brakes on, sending England into a huge collapse.

Can Billy Stanlake replicate his heroics from the first T20?

Or will England continue their short-form dominance?
