Australia will be the world’s most connected continent in 2020.

Speaking on 3AW Drive, CEO of the NBN, Bill Morrow, said Australia will be the world’s most connected continent in 2020.

‘For the first time we’ll have a nation, a continent that is completely connected to a broadband service.’

Mr Morrow is confident the completed NBN will have an immediate impact on Australians.

‘We’ll have better access to healthcare, better access to education, you’ll see a very fundamental difference in the way entertainment is distributed to our homes’ he explained.

The NBN rollout is expected to be completed by 2020.
