Australian cricket star to take a break to deal with mental health issues

Victorian cricket star Glenn Maxwell is taking a break from cricket to deal with mental health issues.

The gun Australian all-rounder has subsequently withdrawn from the national T20 squad.

D’Arcy Short is his replacement.

Cricket Australia confirmed the news in a statement released on Thursday.

No timeline has been set for Maxwell’s return.
