Australian Defence Force launches new app in bid to increase recruitments

The Australian Defence Force is ramping up its efforts to recruit more Australians with the launch of an app as it continues to miss its recruitment goals for the 12th year.

Former Chief of the Australian Army Professor Peter Leahy says the Force and young Australians have made a difference in the world.

“I got the point of view that our young people are wonderful ambassadors for Australia, prepared to do something for their country, prepared to do something good for the world,” he told Tony Jones, filling in for Tom Elliott.
