Australian explains what’s happening on Polish-Ukrainian border

An Australian who has flown to the Polish border with Ukraine has made an emotional plea on 3AW for the world to “do something” about the conflict.

Stefan Romaniw is the chairman of the Australia Federation of Ukrainian Organisations and is on the ground witnessing the refugee influx.

“What I saw today … it brings tears to your eyes,” he said.

“If you can imagine DFO at either Essendon or the city, full of stretchers and beds.”
