Treasurer Scott Morrison has floated discussion surrounding stamp duty breaks for retirees who choose to down-size their home in a bid to get older Australians to loosen their grip on housing stocks.
‘I think we should call it the last home buyers’ grant,’ Alex Malley, CEO of CPA Australia, told Neil Mitchell.
‘The first worked for a while, so let’s call this the last.’
