Australian supermodel slammed for ‘disgraceful’ comments on cancer treatment

Elle Macpherson has been slammed for her “disgraceful” comments on refusing cancer treatment.

The supermodel and businessman revealed in her upcoming memoir that she refused chemotherapy treatment when diagnosed with breast cancer seven years ago, opting to use a holistic approach to fight the disease.

“I was really disappointed today (reading these comments),” Jacqui Felgate said on 3AW Drive.

Kensington Hill Medical Centre GP Dr Elise Davey told 3AW the comments are “reckless”.

“What she’s done isn’t just disappointing, it’s disgraceful,” she said.
