Australian tourists warned of terror threat ahead of AnzacDay commemorations in Gallipoli

Australians planning on travelling to Gallipoli are being warned of a possible terrorist threat ahead of Anzac Day commemorations.
Travel advice remains the same, with Australians urged to take extra caution in Turkey, particularly those attending the commemorations.
Minister for Veterans Affairs Dan Tehan said no further information on the threat was available.
‘There is information to suggest terrorists may seek to target Anzac Day commemorations on the peninsula,’ he said.
‘Turkish authorities are aware and traditionally provide a high lebel of security around commemorations.’
