Australians could be saving $500m by using the right ATM

Australians could be saving about $500m a year simply by using the right ATM.

Each customers withdraw from an ATM not owned by their own banks it costs $2 – sometimes more.

An estimated $548 million in avoidable fees were paid over the past year.

Those figures come after a recent Greens campaign to have the fees slashed.
