Australians don’t want to catch trains and would rather sit in traffic
Most Australians would rather drive to work earlier, or go home later, than sit in traffic.
A study has found drivers are desperate to avoid road congestion and do not want to catch public transport to work.
Justin and Kate spoke with the National Technical Leader of Congestion, Dr Charles Carl from ARRB.
Justin asked ?Dr Charles Carl what surprised him the most about the survey, he says – ‘Two thirds of Australians have actually in response to congestion, by themselves, changed their work and travel habits.’
