Australians obsessed with their phones, according to tech expert

Australians are obsessed with their phones.

That’s the view of tech expert Steve Sammartino, who told Tom Elliott “we’re as bad as anyone in the world” when it came to digital consumption.

“The numbers don’t surprise me at all,” he said.

“We pick up our phones every 12 minutes, most people touch their phone more than 200 times a day.”
