Cyber criminals are gaining access to myGov accounts, apply for credit cards and to make false claims for tax refunds.

Sharon told Neil Mitchell her ordeal started in 2020, and last year the hackers attempted to claim $47,000 from the Australian Tax Office in her name.

“I’m still battling scammers and fraud,” she told Neil Mitchell.

Rebecca told Neil Mitchell she’s just found out she’s also been targeted by scammers.
