Australia’s fight with Facebook ‘shocks’ the rest of the world

Australia’s fight with Facebook has shocked the global publishing community.

Mike Isaac, technology correspondent with the New York Times, told Ross and Russel he’d been watching with interest.

“We’re pretty shocked,” he said.

“We’ve been watching this for a while.”

Mr Isaac said there was no doubt Facebook was trying to send a message to the rest of the world.
