Author reflects on the dark legacy of Daniel Andrews and his ‘grim’ impact on Victorians
Director of research at the Institute of Public Affairs, Morgan Begg, has reflected on the legacy of former Premier Daniel Andrews.
Mr Begg has written a book titled: ‘The Dark Legacy of Daniel Andrews: Assessing the Social and Economic Costs of Australia’s Most Controversial Premier.’
“Victoria went from being the social and economic capital of Australia, to something much more grim,” Mr Begg told Tom Elliott.

“He’s been out of office for over two years now, but we’re still dealing with the after effects that in many ways, the current government is really just continuing on. It’s Andrews 2.0.
“The COVID period really exemplified the worst tendencies of Daniel Andrews … this was arrogance to the highest degree, abuse of power to the highest degree.”
