Auto store takes stand against sexism from male customers

Fed-up female staff at an auto store have taken a stand against sexist comments and insults from mainly male customers.

And they’ve got the backing of their boss.

A sign at Autobarn at Bayswater North has been placed at the store telling customers that abuse and sexual comments will not be tolerated.

Ross Droscher, who owns the store, told Tom Elliott he’d heard “outrageous” comments from male customers towards female staff working at the store.
