Baby girl fighting for life in hospital after horrific crash in Melbourne’s west

A one-year-old baby girl is fighting for life in hospital after a horrific head-on collision in Deer Park earlier this morning.

The crash happened on Station Road shortly before 12:30am.

Six people from one vehicle were taken to hospital, including the baby girl, a second baby, and a 10-year-old.

The 22-year-old driver of the other car was arrested, and is expected to be interviewed in relation to dangerous driving.
