Baby girl killed by car at Ocean Grove

A baby girl has been killed by a car at Ocean Grove.

The tragic development emerged on Friday afternoon.

Ambulance Victoria was called to Connewarre Place just before 5pm.

The one-year-old girl could not be saved and died at the scene.

Police say the child was struck by the car in the driveway of a house.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
