Bail justice volunteer stands down after Bourke Street tragedy

The bail justice volunteer at the centre of what happened in the CBD on Friday has stood down from the role.

Neil Mitchell has chosen not to name the person.

The 3AW Mornings host has been told volunteer is deeply distressed after what happened.

The state government told Neil Mitchell on Wednesday the volunteer had since taken himself off the bail roster and won’t be returning in the foreseeable future.
