Two Ballarat men have sparked outrage after dressing up as indigenous Australians at a weekend party.

The men painted themselves in ‘black face’ from head to toe and have come under fire from several high-profile indigenous people after a photo of the pair surfaced on social media.

In a series of tweets, indigenous rapper Briggs took the pair to task, branding them ‘redneck scumbags.’

‘I live in australia, where you still gotta explain why Blackface is racist to ignorant mf-rs,’ one tweet read.
