Bananas are on the verge of worldwide extinction

Bananas may not be around in the next 10 years due a fast-advancing disease compound.

The fungal disease known as ‘The Sigatoka complex’ could put an end to the world’s banana supply.

Farmers will be forced into treating their banana crops at least 50 times a year to prevent total destruction.
