Barefoot bowls brought to a halt by cuddly pitch invader

A coastal barefoot bowls competition was brought to a halt this week when a koala invaded the green.

It happened at Apollo Bay on Tuesday night.

Players were forced to wait while the big koala walked across the green, stopped for a rest, and then moved on.
