Barnaby Joyce says he’s got “no ambition” to challenge Michael McCormack for the National Party leadership.

But he’s told Tom Elliott he’d jump at the opportunity to lead the party again, should the leadership position become available.

“I’ve got no ambition, at all, to call or cause a spill,” he said.
