It’s another successful night for Melbourne Renegades, beating Brisbane Heat by seven wickets at Etihad Stadium tonight.

Cameron White continued his fantastic early-season form, blasting 51 off 43 balls.

Shadab Khan was once again productive for the Heat, taking two wickets.

The Renegades are back in action against Perth Scorchers at Etihad on December 29, while the Heat will have a chance to get back on the winners list when they host Sydney Thunder on December 27.

Jack Wildermuth’s three wickets highlighted a commanding Melbourne Renegades performance as they restricted Brisbane Heat to 8/132.

Alex Ross (48) top scored for the away team, while captain Brendon McCullum was dismissed for just five runs early in the Heat innings.

The Gades require 133 runs to notch up their second win this season.

Will Chris Lynn play? That’s the big question as Brisbane Heat travel south to Melbourne as they face the Renegades at Etihad Stadium tonight.

Both these respective sides won their opening games of the season and while we only may be a few games into BBL|07, tonight’s clash looks to be the most important of the tournament to date.

In Lynn’s absence against the Stars on Wednesday night, Alex Ross (51) and Joe Burns (50) stepped up to fill the void, although the latter didn’t travel to Melbourne and won’t play tonight after picking up a minor groin strain.

Meanwhile, it’s a quick turnaround for the Renegades after comfortably defeating Hobart Hurricanes at Bludstone Arena on Thursday night.
