The founder of Australia’s largest online bookstore says online giant Amazon won’t slow their success in the market.

Six time finalist in the Telstra Business Awards, Booktopia’s Tony Nash joined Steve, Tim and Brendan for this week’s episode of the Be ‘That’ Business show.

He discussed how he intends to keep pace with impending rival Amazon.

“They’re everything to everyone and when you’ve got that much real estate it’s very limited to engage with the customer,” he said.

He also noted the new interest in business books, with Scott Pape’s The Barefoot Investor becoming the highest selling book of all time on Booktopia.

“We’ve sold 64,000 copies, it’s an industry phenomenon.”
