Handbags, shoes and jewellery made for unlikely topics of discussion for Steve Price, Tim Reid and Telstra’s Brendan Donohue.

Adam Koniaras, co- owner of independent fashion label ELK, joined the Be ‘that’ business show to discuss his award winning business.

ELK won the National Medium Business Award at the 2017 Telstra Business Awards last Friday in Sydney.

Adam said without Telstra, the business simply wouldn’t succeed.

“A large portion of our business now is through the online market so without that support we just couldn’t do it,” he said.

ELK products are made in Italy, China, India and The Philippines, meaning the company’s online administration needs to run smoothly.

“We have different systems in place for all of the products but we have extensive software that we use,” Adam said.
