‘Becoming the norm’: Two ‘terrifying’ machete incidents in Melbourne over the weekend

Two terrifying incidents have occurred in Melbourne over the weekend, both involving machetes.

The first incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning, with a fight breaking out in a Braybrook La Porchetta car park with three teens injured with stab wounds.

The second incident of the weekend occurred in Manor Lakes, with a group of men approaching two women in a car and used machetes to threaten the pair.

3AW Police Reporter Madelaine Burke joined 3AW Mornings to provide further details of the machete crimes that occurred over the weekend.
