Beeb Birtles opens up about his memoir, career and moving to Nashville

Beeb Birtles has been involved with some of the best known Australian bands, Zoot, Mississipi and Little River Band.

He’s based in Nashville, but he’s back in Australia where it all began to release his biography after being inducted into the South Australian Music Hall of Fame.

He spoke to Denis Walter about his career, why it was time to write a book and moving to Nashville.

“It wasn’t planned, but that’s the way it went. I was young, you gather experience as you go along,” he said.

He also spoke openly about the Little River Band and the legal dispute over the use of the band’s name.
