A dog who went missing after a burglary at his home in Taylors Lakes has turned up one week on.

Buddy, who suffers from epilepsy and requires daily medication, had gone missing last week.

His owners believe he may have been stolen.

Co-owner Simon Mann told Tom Elliott they were walking around putting up lost posters on Saturday when they got a call from a vet in St Albans to say he’d been brought in.

“And then we cried, we got our boy back,” he said.

“It was the end of the most difficult of weeks.”

Simon thanked the good Samaritan who took Buddy to a vet after she found him in her driveway.

“We believe he was dumped somewhere in St Albans,” he said.
