Ben Stokes unlikely to pick up BBL gig

Ben Stokes may yet play for England this summer, but he appears almost certain to miss a gig in the BBL.

Plenty of interest surrounds his playing future due to a police investigation.

Stokes has played previously for the Melbourne Renegades.

The Perth Scorchers still have a spot free for an international, but told Sportsday they “wouldn’t be considering” the England all-rounder.
