Bernard Tomic in hot water after insulting a spectator

Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic is in trouble for insulting comments he made to a spectator.

He made them during a tournament at Flushing Meadows in New York.

‘I will put my balls in your mouth’ and ‘I will give you some money to make you feel good’.

It came to light via a Swedish tennis journalist who was monitoring the match on a live stream.

Alex Theodoridis recorded the video, uploaded it and now it’s gone viral.

Neil Mitchell spoke with Alex, who works for the Tennis Portal website.

Tomic has since apologised for what happened. It’s understood he was ‘severely’ provoked.
