Bid to track down good Samaritan who rushes to aid of driver after crash
A lucky driver who escaped without injury after her car was t-boned by a teen driver has thanked the off-duty firefighter who rushed to her aid.
Dashcam footage captured the dramatic moment a car, driven by teens believed to be as young as 13, hurtles and crashes into Celestine Pau as she turns right at an intersection.
Neil Mitchell tracked down Jarrad Jeffs, the off-duty firefighter who calmly helped Ms Pau in the seconds after the crash.
‘By chance I was sitting there behind the lady as she was waiting to turn right, out of nowhere this car came through what looked like a great pace,’ he said.
‘When you come across that sort of stuff you do the best for people.’
