Bill Shorten hasn’t given up hope of causing a federal election boilover on Saturday.

Although opinion polls suggest the race between Labor and the Coalition will be tight, the Turnbull Government is heavily favoured to be re-elected.

It follows news more people than ever before are planning to vote for minor parties and independents.

The alternative prime minister told Neil Mitchell Labor could be trusted to offer stable government.

‘Because for the last three years, I’ve united the Labor party,’ Mr Shorten said on 3AW.
