Billy’s Busker: Fred Smith joins Grubby and Dee on The Weekend Break

Fred Smith is not just a musician, but a storyteller.

He popped in to the 3AW studio to perform Little Jimmy Boy as part of Billy Pinnell’s ‘Billy Busker’ segment on The Weekend Break with Grubby and Dee Dee.

He’s also got a new album with 24 original songs and loves performing at festivals.

“People sit down and listen and appreciate music,” he said.

He has a fascinating story, including working with the Foreign Affairs Department which has led him to Afghanistan.
