‘Bit rich’: Jacqui Felgate reacts to Jacinta Allan’s emotional press conference

Premier Jacinta Allan was visibly emotional during a press conference on Thursday, while speaking about the impact that the fuel crisis is having on struggling families.

“You know who’s not struggling? It’s tradies on the $15 billion Big Build blowout where we’re still looking for all of our money,” Jacqui Felgate said.

“I find it a little bit rich if the Premier is going to come out today and cry about families that are suffering.”

The state Labor leader then hit back at accusations of “crocodile tears” on 3AW Mornings the next day.

“I can only say that I come to this job with a deep commitment to the Victorian community,” Allan told Heidi Murphy.
