The Sydney Thunder need 178 runs for victory as they chase their first win of the BBL06 season. Scorchers skipper Adam Voges had to retire due to injury and will not take any further part in the match, Michael Klinger will take up the reins as captain. The Scorchers posted a good score with an even spread of runs, Klinger (38), Bell (45) and Mitch Marsh (44*) all contributing. Last seasons reigning champions the Sydney Thunder will be desperate to put on a good showing as they chase their first win of the season.
