The KFC Big Bash is back at the SCG tonight with the Sydney Sixers playing host to the Sydney Thunder in the Sydney Smash. The Sixers come into tonight’s match sitting at 4-2 with the Thunder at 2-4. There’s a lot on the line for both sides tonight, the Thunder needing a win to keep their finals aspirations alive and the Sixers looking to secure a top 4 spot with finals just around the corner.

Both teams have made changes to their 13-man squad ahead of tonight’s match. For the Thunder, rookie Liam Hatcher comes into the squad replacing Pat Cummins (national duties); for the Sixers, New Zealander Colin Munro makes his BBL debut replacing Sam Billings. Both teams are coming off the back of consecutive wins and with finals spots up for grabs there will be no shortage of fireworks in front of a sell-crowd at the SCG.
