Blues forward re-signs on bittersweet day for Carlton

Carlton forward Harry McKay has re-signed for a further two years on a mixed day for the club.
The 20-year-old, who played 13 games and kicked 21 goals in 2018, will remain at the Blues until at least the end of 2021.
But the news isn’t as good for Jarrod Pickett, who ruptured his patella tendon at training on Thursday morning.
The small forward was forced to leave the track on a stretcher after his right knee buckled and will undergo surgery on Friday.
The incident comes just a week after Carlton co-captain Sam Docherty ruptured his ACL at training for the second consecutive year.
