Identify of Tyabb body revealed

LATEST: The identity of a man whose body was found on a vacant property at Tyabb has been revealed.

The Herald Sun’s identified him as local father, Jade Goodwin – his body was buried in a shallow grave, just a few kilometres from his Hastings home.

Friends and family have confirmed Mr Goodwin’s death, which is being treated as suspicious.

The body was found in a shallow grave on the Dandenong Hastings Road property at about 9pm on Sunday night.

The farmland property had been sold in recent months but remained vacant – chains still on the front gate.
