Body language expert says to use 10% less pressure when shaking a woman’s hand
It’s okay to use a less firm handshake for a woman than it is for a man.
But etiquette expert Anna Musson told Tom Elliott don’t back off too far.
‘A man should only show 10% less pressure when shaking a woman’s hand than he would for a man,’ she said.
Ms Musson said a weak handshake can be an indicator that you are ‘insecure, uncertain, or perhaps lacking in confidence’.
She also said there’s no worse habit than rolling your eyes.
