As part of the crackdown on violence at protests, police may soon be able to target those with violent intent.

Trouble is, many of the violent protesters are now covering their faces.

So Ross and John contacted a body language expert to see if you can gauge violent intent without seeing someone’s face.

‘If someone actually turns up to a lie detector test, there’s a good chance they’re going to tell the truth,’ Dr Louise Mahler said.

‘I think that relates here.

‘When people turn up, if they have their head covered, one can say their intent is not good.’
