BOM issues severe weather warning for central and eastern parts of Victoria
It’s been a weird, wet and wild Monday in Melbourne.
Temperatures dropped almost 10 degrees in the space of just 15 minutes on Monday afternoon after hitting a top of 32 degrees at lunchtime.
Then the rain hit.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning for damaging winds, with wind gusts of 100km/h possible in central and eastern parts of the state.
Locations which may be affected include Warrnambool, Maryborough, Ballarat, Geelong, Melbourne, Traralgon and Bairnsdale.
