Borce Ristevski reportedly bashed in prison

Alleged killer Borce Ristevski has reportedly been bashed on his first day in prison.

The Age reports Mr Ristevski, charged this week with the murder of his wife Karen, was assaulted in the yard of the Melbourne Assessment Prison on Thursday.

One source told The Age the bashing was a “welcome”.

Mr Ristevski denies any involvement with his wife’s murder.

He’s next due in court on April 18.
