Boss of TAC says Victoria’s road toll is currently ‘unacceptable’

The head of the TAC says our current road toll is unacceptable and something needs to be done now.

Deaths on our roads are 31 up on this time last year.

The TAC’s CEO, Joe Calafiore joined Neil Mitchell in studio.

‘Neil, this is unacceptable, it has to stop, we simply can’t cop this level of trauma anymore.’

Neil asked Joe what he thought of America’s latest commercial against using phones and driving, would work here in Australia?

‘That is one of the most hard hitting social media campaigns that i’ve ever seen.’

‘I’ve got no doubt it could work here.’ – Joe told 3AW Mornings.
