‘Not getting the response’: How Craig McRae’s body language has changed so far

Matthew Lloyd says he noticed a noticeable change in the demeanour of Collingwood coach Craig McRae early in the season.

Lloydy said so far in 2024, the reigning premiership coach wasn’t “getting the response” from the playing group like he’s become accustomed to in the last two success-laden years.

“I saw him flustered in Round 1,” he said on 3AW Football.

“The body language for the first time (was different)…he was looking at it thinking that his players aren’t doing what he wanted them to do for the first time in two years.

“He’s not getting the response from his players.”
