Both sides of today’s Melbourne CBD protests as police brace for tension

Tom Elliott spoke to the organisers of both rival protests set to descend on Melbourne’s CBD today.

Community organiser for Warriors of Aboriginal Resistance, Tarneen Onus-Williams, told Tom Elliott, “Our message for today is that we are calling for a day of mourning on this day.”

On the other side, ‘March for Australia’ protest organiser, Hugo Lennon, told 3AW Mornings, “Principally, the March for Australia at our previous events… has been a call to end mass immigration and the message is still much the same this time around.”
