Boy flown to hospital after tree branch fell on him at a Bendigo school

A schoolboy and a woman have been taken to hospital after a tree branch collapsed at a school in Bendigo.

Emergency services were called to Kalianna School just before 3pm and worked to free the pair after they became trapped.

A primary school aged boy has been flown to hospital in Melbourne with suspected pelvis injuries, while the woman, believed to be aged in her 60s, was taken to the local hospital.

Both are in stable conditions.
