UPDATE: A 14 year old boy who went missing after walking out of the Royal Children’s Hospital this morning has been found.

Louisa spotted Luke on her way to work.

“He was walking around in Greensborough trying to get home,” Louisa told Neil Mitchell.

“I could tell he was very lost and confused.”

Luke is now safe with police.

Speaking to Jerry again, the father said he is “absolutely over the moon.”

“Thank you so much, the power of the people.”

EARLIER:

Luke was hit by a car last Friday in Eltham North.

Suffering from post-traumatic amnesia, Luke walked past nurses and security before exiting the hospital at 7am.

Father Jerry called 3AW Breakfast first to alert listeners of what had happened.

Speaking further to Neil Mitchell, Jerry said his memory is lacking.

“The other day he didn’t know who I was and I have been with him in the hospital 24/7.

“Imagine my fright when I woke up and he wasn’t here.”
