Brad Battin weighs in on the PM’s bombshell Suburban Rail Loop announcement

Over the weekend, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese confirmed that his government would supply more funding to the Allan government’s Suburban Rail Loop project.

Speaking on 3AW Mornings, state opposition leader Brad Battin questioned the announcement.

Battin told Tom Elliott, “I’d be very interested to see what Anthony Albanese and the federal government do, considering it’s Infrastructure Australia that had major issues in relation to the Suburban Rail Loop.”

“I’d want to think that the Prime Minister would make a responsible decision based on Infrastructure Australia’s advice, not a political decision to protect his friend down here.”
