Brad Scott ‘in the dark’ over Dustin Martin, says Jarrad Waite’s future still unclear

North Melbourne coach Brad Scott says he has no idea whether Dustin Martin will join his club.

Scott was reappointed coach of the Roos today for another two seasons, tying him to the club until at least the end of 2020.

Richmond star Martin is said to be deciding on whether to stay with the Tigers, or making a switch to the Roos.

Scott gave little away on Sportsday.

“I’m in the dark,” he told 3AW.

“I suspect I’ll find out when everyone else does.”

On a separate note, Scott said Jarrad Waite was “no guarantee” to remain on North Melbourne’s list.

“I love coaching him,” Scott said.

“My only regret was that I didn’t get a hold of him when he was 18.”
