Offenders remain on the run after chaos on major freeway
Two offenders remain on the run, following a major police pursuit along the Mornington Peninsula Freeway.
Callers Craig and Ben alerted 3AW Drive to the news earlier.

“That would’ve been utterly terrifying,” Jacqui Felgate said.

Traffic has started to ease with the freeway now open between Centre Dandenong Road and Governor Road.
Victoria Police have released the following statement:
Police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was set alight in Dingley Village on 23 June.
It’s believed the vehicle was stolen from a Rosebud address around 1pm.
The vehicle was tracked to the Carnegie area and was observed by police on Moorooduc Highway in convoy with another vehicle.
The vehicle travelled through the Moorabbin area where stop sticks were successfully deployed on Centre Dandenong Road.
Two males dumped the car on the Mornington Peninsula Freeway before fleeing in another stolen vehicle that stopped nearby.
That second vehicle was then located on fire on Mornington Peninsula Freeway in Dingley Village just before 3pm.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and no one was injured.
